Advice Nurse Lunch & Learn with Sydney Gressel

Join us on March 4 from 11:45a-1:15p for a Lunch & Learn following Baby & Me. All are welcome - join for Baby & Me and stay on, or come at 11:45am. This is geared toward parents of infants and up - children welcome. We will update you with lunch sponsors shortly!

When little ones get sick, it can be extremely stressful and scary for parents. Advice Nurse is a 1.5 hour workshop for educating and empowering parents to offset this stress. We will discuss which signs/symptoms are truly concerning, how to manage the basics at home, and what's indication for bringing your child in to be seen by a clinician. Learn how to treat and assess fevers, cough and congestion, vomiting, diarrhea, rashes and more!

*Pre-registration required as space is limited

$20 Donation to secure a spot in the workshop. 2/3 proceeds will be donated to RAICES, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to help separated families, detained families, unaccompanied minors, and others who are seeking asylum in the United States. Donations to RAICES directly fund the bond necessary to get parents out of detention and reunited with their children, along with free legal representation for children and families in Texas courts.

*No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Email vanessa@sensiblesitters.com for sliding scale and no fee options.
